Professional Makeup Artist Sofia — 16+ Years Experience

I am Vessy Mineva — a professional makeup artist with over 16 years of experience in the beauty industry, with numerous completed courses and master classes in makeup artistry. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of working on television productions, fashion and advertising projects, as well as with private clients for personal events, weddings, and special occasions. Every person is unique, which is why my approach is entirely individual — the makeup I create must not only look flawless in person and on camera, but also make the client feel confident, comfortable, and special.
I believe that beauty lives in the details, and well-chosen makeup can be a powerful tool for self-expression.

Where It All Began
Every person has at least one woman in their life who profoundly shapes their perception of the world. I was lucky enough to have two — my mother and my grandmother. Completely different from one another. I believe this enriched my inner world and broadened my interests.
My mother never had much of a fondness for makeup. For her, it was something reserved only for special occasions — and even then, in its simplest form. My grandmother, however, was her complete opposite. As a respected and sociable lady, she would never allow herself to step out even to the corner shop without lipstick. I still remember that green lipstick that sat like a treasure on her vanity, which she would never let us touch — carefully guarded, used almost ritually.
I was little, but this contrast between my mother and my grandmother left a deep impression on me. I always wondered why my grandmother insisted so much on makeup, why she treated it as something essential, as part of her daily life. Years later, I realized that for her — and for many women — makeup is not simply a tool for beautification. It is armor. A symbol of strength, confidence, and presence. One of the small but powerful ways a woman can assert herself before the world.
For many women, makeup is not simply cosmetics. It is armor. A symbol of strength, confidence, and presence.
In my teenage years, makeup always attracted me in a special way. For me, it was never just cosmetics — it was a way to create something beautiful, to experiment, to play with shapes and colors, to express myself through the art that drew me in. My resources back then were quite modest — a black pencil, a lipstick, a bit of mascara, and a few eyeshadows. But that did not stop me. I did my friends’ makeup, tried new techniques, without even realizing I was doing something special. Soon, people began to notice — everyone kept asking my friends who had done their makeup.
Back then, in my small town, makeup was not something easily accessible. One day, however, I saw in the only shop in town that had a slightly wider selection the first set of makeup brushes I had ever seen in my life — ordinary, Chinese-made, only five or six of them, but for me it was a real treasure. I fell in love with them. I was so determined to have them that I saved money from my school lunches for days. I skipped eating at school, but in the end I went and bought them. With those brushes, a whole new world opened up before me. I understood something very important — to create something truly impressive, you need not only passion but also the right tools.
Despite all my love for makeup, I never saw it as a profession. For me, it was simply a hobby, something I did because it brought me joy. I never imagined that someone could pay me to do what I love. Instead, I chose something “serious” as a career — programming. I enrolled in university to study a stable and promising profession, one that seemed like the right choice.
And then something happened that I never expected — I made the most spontaneous decision of my life. Even though I have always been someone who thinks through every step, at one point I came across a makeup course and… I signed up. Without long deliberation, without the usual doubts. I just did it. And in that moment, everything fell into place. I realized that this was not just a hobby. This is my calling.
I realized that this was not just a hobby. This is my calling.
When I understood that I could turn my passion into a profession, it was as if a whole new world opened up before me. Makeup was not just makeup — it was a way to convey emotion, to help people feel more beautiful, more confident, more powerful. From that moment on, I had no more doubts — this was my path.
My Vision
My style in makeup artistry is — you on your best day — stylish, elegant, and captivating.
My Mission
I believe makeup is not a mask — it is a mirror. A mirror that reveals the version of you that you sometimes forget exists. The one who walks into a room and, without a single word, says: “I am here.” My mission is to bring her to light — with precision, with care, and with deep respect for what makes you unique.
Even as a child, I understood that makeup carries something far greater than colour and texture. My grandmother never left the house without her lipstick — not out of vanity, but from a sense of dignity and strength. That quiet confidence left a lasting impression on me. Years later, when I had already chosen a “serious” career — programming — makeup found me again. And I realized: it was never just a hobby. It was my calling.
With over 16 years of experience, today I approach every look with the eye of an artist and the precision of someone who understands the power of detail. I work with products I trust without reservation — Dior, Charlotte Tilbury, Natasha Denona, Chanel, and more — because luxury is not in the label, but in the feeling it leaves on your skin. Every brush, every shade, every decision is tailored to you — to the shape of your face, the tone of your skin, the occasion, your mood.
But the real magic is not in the products. It is in the moment you look in the mirror and feel that you are exactly where you want to be — beautiful, confident, captivating. Not a different version of yourself, but the best version of yourself. That is the moment I do this for.
The real magic is not in the products. It is in the moment you look in the mirror and feel that you are exactly where you want to be — beautiful, confident, captivating.
I never stop learning, searching, refining — because every face is a new world, and every occasion deserves makeup that is not just seen, but felt. My mission is to turn every appointment into an experience — a place where artistry meets calm, and you leave not just with makeup on, but inspired.
